In a spirit of creative collaboration, the joint meeting of the Boards of Directors of the four European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) based in Greece—Amphictyony, HELICAS, Euxine City, and CLIMANET—took place in Athens, at the KEDE conference hall.
The purpose of the meeting was to review public policy developments and to strengthen the operational cooperation among the Groupings. The proceedings focused on the strategic role of EGTCs in cross-border development, the challenges of climate neutrality, and close cooperation with institutional bodies of Local Government.
At the same time, the Joint Action Plan 2026-2027 was designed, with a particular emphasis on priorities ahead of the upcoming Greek Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2027.
The proceedings were honored by presentations from executives of the European Parliament's Greek department, the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission, representatives of the Ministry of Interior, as well as institutional bodies of Local Government (EETAA, KEDE).
We continue united to strengthen regional development and territorial cohesion!
