Memorandum of Cooperation
between
the non-profit organization under the name
« EGTC amphictyony -
Networks of twinned towns and regions of the Mediterranean " and
Greek Company Local Development SA
Article 1
Preamble
The non-profit organization under the name " EGTC Amphictyony "is a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation has not , established under the provisions of Article 221 of the Code of Municipalities and Communities, as it has been replaced with the provision of Article 22 of n.3613/2007 , in order to enhance the expertise and exchange experience between the members of the Group.
The Greek Company Local Development SA , a legal entity , which was established in pursuance of Article 16 of n.1518/1985 , as amended and in force, for the technical and scientific support of local authorities and of Legal Entities , in which local authorities are involved or which institution.
The above parties agree mutually accepted by their representatives, to sign a cooperation agreement to fulfill the Group with the following terms and conditions:
Article 2
Purpose of Cooperation
The collaboration , which agreed with the present, towards effective fulfillment of a non-profit organization under the name " EGTC Amphictyony " technical and scientific support of the" Greek Company Local Development ".
Article 3
Obligations and rights
In this memorandum the EETAA promises to take :
a) designing training meetings of members of the " EGTC Amphictyony "
b ) conducting research on the training needs or training members of the Group and fixing issues, which will be the subject of training sessions,
c) the provision of support by allocating scientific personnel, but also by providing support through its Services in Greece or abroad.
Particular execution of this term , the EETAA promises to provide support to the Group through its Office in Brussels on issues related to EU programs and initiatives.
d ) participation in expert groups and scientific committees with scientific staff , which promises to provide in cases where required by the Group.
e ) participation during the implementation of programs and initiatives undertaken by the non-profit organization under the name " EGTC - Amphictiony ", as long as it is requested by the Civil Society and only for programs which will be of this request.
The non-profit organization " EGTC - Amphictiony » promises by the representative:
a ) inform the EETAA for programs or initiatives undertaken in order to benefit from the necessary timely support during implementation,
b) promptly inform the EETAA for matters that require the setting up of committees and working groups in order to deal EETAA timely issues , if such cooperation, as referred to in Article 5 hereof,
c ) cover costs of scientists, who will represent the Group in the European or international institutions.
Article 4
Duration
This cooperation is proposed to last for a period of two ( 2) years .
Article 5
Special setting
It is expressly agreed that if necessary, it is possible to sign specific contracts , which we specialized mode of cooperation for a specific object and set its remuneration EETAA .
