EGTC AMPHICTYONIA completed its participation in the URGENT project

After two years of cooperation in the URGENT project with its partners from 9 other countries, EGTC AMPHICTYONY completed its participation in the project for urban reconstruction with emphasis on the recognition and management of the characteristics of immigrants and other vulnerable groups living in urban areas environments.

The project was funded by the European Program "Europe for Citizens" in collaboration with the Municipality of Agia Varvara, which was the study area within the project, and EETAA, which assisted the action in Greece with scientific knowledge and documentation, a project - pilot which can be utilized by all local government in our country.

An important element in all the effort, the uninterrupted and tireless participation of the group of active citizens of Agia Barbara who for more than six months worked in a spirit of solidarity and trust in fellow human beings, wherever they come from, and hope for a common future.
